I like that photo as well. There's not alot of group shots that include both Pig and the Godchaux.' First time I saw it anywhere was in Phil's book. I suspect the occasion is they're embarking for Europe after the March NYC run but it's little more than a guess.

Godchaux's for the possessive, as in 'Keith Godchaux's piano'
Godchauxes for the plural, as in 'the Godchauxes, Keith and Donna'

In Phil's book the photo is captioned "en route to Denmark", so it must be just before 4/14.

The other picture w/ Pig & Keith in Phil's book was, amusingly, used in the 11/15/71 Road Trips case....even though Pigpen wasn't with them on 11/15/71!
